by Aldyth Morris

Sanctuary and The Bench Theatre Initiative are proud to present Damien by Aldyth Morris, the story of Father Damien de Veuster, the leper priest of Moloka’i. The patron saint of outcasts, Father Damien’s life is a brave tale that speaks to the marginalized communities served by The Bench and Sanctuary. Sanctuary Actor-in-Residence Lyf Stolte will perform the role of Damien for the community he has served for the past 9 years, as a testament to the love and dedication that the marginalized communities of Toronto deserve.
